1. Donation & Sponsorship
- All public monetary (cash, recurring, or online) or in-kind donations are strictly final and non-refundable as funds are immediately allocated to animal care.
- Exceptions apply only to verified system or bank errors (e.g. duplicate charges) if reported in writing within 7 working days.
2. Adoption
- Adoption fees cover initial veterinary care, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. These fees are non-refundable once the adoption is finalised and the animal leaves the shelter.
- If an adoption fails during an official trial period, shelter policy dictates animal return rather than a cash refund.
3. Surrender
- Surrender administration or intake fees are non-refundable once the intake evaluation begins or the animal is housed.
- Surrendering an animal transfers full ownership and legal rights to the shelter. Owners cannot reclaim a surrendered animal or demand fee refunds after signing the surrender form.
4. Merchandise and Events
- Purchases of shelter merchandise or event tickets are final sale unless the item is damaged or defective upon receipt.
5. Processing Time
- Approved error refunds are processed within 30 working days.
