Sponsor a Vet Programme (Updated 1 July 2007)

PAWS requires the service of professional vets to ensure that animals in our care are given the necessary veterinary attention. We need to raise at least RM 85,000 a year to contract two (2) professional vets to look after our animals on a daily basis. Our vets also support our small pool of animal rescuers, fosterers, and provide follow care to post-adoption animals. A specific monthly full or part sponsorship will be used to pay for this service, which benefits our animals at the shelter and supports the local rescue community.

Contribute Towards Rebuilding PAWS (Updated 1 July 2007)

PAWS must continue to raise funds for a new shelter and planned relocation of our long time animal residents to a purpose built sanctuary. The high cost of land in the Klang Valley makes it necessary for us to separate our shelter and sanctuary operations. Our shelter will remain on a smaller and more affordable plot of land while a new sanctuary can be set up further away from the city on more available agricultural land.

PAWS is currently looking for potential donors who are willing to give us 5 acres to establish a sustainable animal sanctuary. We must ensure that we have sufficient funds to build the sanctuary. Contributions to this specific cause is appreciated.

Our shelter remains on the Subang site as we continue to work with relevant government agencies to secure the land on which it sites. We are in need of funds to rebuild on the present site. Our kennels and cattery are difficult to maintain and without rebuilding with modern materials, it remains an eyesore in the midst of new commercial and residential hubs surrounding us.
